I always like that Body by Fisher badge on the door seal of cars when I was a kid.

Greedy workers who would not take pay cuts for globalization caused the plants to move overseas….let this be a warning American workers take the pay cut and keep your job we are on a global economy now it's a must……..
Corporate greed. And incompetence.
The logo was on the door sills until 1992… my parents and friends had vehicles that had the logo on them past 1984
I was born in Norwalk, OH 60 yrs ago and this is the first I heard the Fisher Body empire started there.

Eats it's, Own…..
Fisher division combined with Inland and Guide lamp to live on into the 90s. Much of that became Delphi. And then the walls started to fall.
We had a plant near us.
General Motors cars had the clear benefit of their beautiful Fisher bodies.
I never knew Flint was 400 miles from Detroit 🤔
Fisher Body 21 wasn’t designed by Kahn. It was designed by Smith, Hinchman & Grylls
Use to say body by Fisher rattles by design. Never rode in a body by fisher car that didn’t rattle some place.
@9:00 showing a Ford Thunderbird, I doubt that was a Fisher body, Briggs more likely?
The narration could use more recap; repetition, if you will? Points, no matter how minor, although frequently repeated should possibly be repeated more. Repeated again possibly an additional ten times. More repetition of minor points would make the vide so much more watchable. It's too bad that the video skims over minor points with only a dozen or so mentions. Repeating more, again and again, would be great.
So in reality, the unions won some battles but lost the war. America ended up off-shoring manufacturing and destroying the middle class. The unions, the companies and most of all politicians of America degraded our manufacturing power in the world. I hope we are able to learn from this and rebuild our manufacturing superiority. The only real stability of a country lies in their ability to produce and supply the basic needs of the citizens.
Video topics are great. Some facts are inaccurate.
